Public and Private
Canada\'s education system encompasses public schools, which are free and funded by the government, and private schools, for which students have to pay. At the post-secondary level, public colleges and universities still need students to pay tuition, but it is comprehensively less than tuition at private universities.

Most of the Canadian colleges/Universities required TOEFL or IELTS score. Work Opportunities Canada

On-Campus during study period
Full-time international and exchange students with a valid Study visa are eligible to work on campus. International students who are enrolled fulltime and are in the good standing with the college can part-time during the college term after 6 months. Off-Campus during study period

Students are allowed to work part time for 20 hours per week after six months of his/her full time study in the college. Students need to apply for work permit to work off- campus.

As per the current post study permit rules the students are eligible for an open work permit up to 3 years* after successful completion of their studies.

Students graduating from a 2 year Diploma or 3 year advance diploma are eligible for 3 years open work permit whereas the students graduating from 1 year diploma are eligible for 1 year open work permit.
